Here’s a full rundown of the new games coming to Xbox One from September 7-11, 2020.
A busy week of new Xbox One releases is headlined by RPG remaster, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The game was overshadowed on its original release by the circumstances surrounding its funding and the subsequent fate of Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios. It received a mixed critical reception in 2012, so it will be interesting to see how it fares in its new updated form.
Other new Xbox One releases include the gorgeous polygonal retro racer Hotshot Racing, and the console debut of indie actioner, Party Hard 2. Dontnod’s Tell Me Why also draws to a close with its third and final chapter.
Three big games also receive intergalactic expansions this week. Star Wars comes to The Sims 4 with the Journey to Batuu expansion, and players of The Outer Worlds can investigate the Peril on Gorgon. Meanwhile, Borderlands 3 players can look forward to Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.
Each new game can be purchased from the Xbox One digital games store or the Microsoft web store. We’ll update this post throughout the week with any late additions.
