Back 4 Blood and Disco Elysium: The Final Cut headline a solid lineup of new Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases.
Turtle Rock Studio’s Back 4 Blood looks to revive the much-loved gameplay of Valve’s classic Left 4 Dead series. The nature of online gaming has changed considerably over the past decade. However, a well-received beta – and Xbox Game Pass inclusion – indicates this spiritual successor is likely to find an appreciative audience.
ZA/UM’s groundbreaking 2019 role-playing game Disco Elysium also comes to Xbox on Tuesday. Disco Elysium: The Final Cut adds voice work to over 300 NPCs and restores quests cut from the game’s original release.
After four in development, Hidetaka Suehiro’s debt repayment RPG The Good Life also makes its debut. We’re not convinced that the game’s hodge-podge of concepts will be coherent, but its inclusion with Xbox Games Pass makes it a risk-free adventure.
Other new Xbox releases include time travel adventure Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality, party-game jamboree Jackbox Party Pack 8, and EA’s NHL 22.
Here’s the complete list of new Xbox games. We’ll update this page throughout the week with any late additions.
