Project Winter headlines next week’s lineup of new games for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Following a poorly communicated release roadmap, Control finally gets its next-gen upgrade on Xbox Series X. Remedy Entertainment promise improved load times, frame rate, and resolution, among other enhancements. We love the game – and its two DLC expansions – and will report back with impressions of the update next week.

Our pick of the week is Project Winter, the acclaimed survival and social deception game from Other Ocean. Project Winter has been a big hit on PC, and given the current popularity of games based on betrayal and treachery, we expect it to do just as well on console.

The final highlight is Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, a new action RPG adaptation of White Wolf’s popular tabletop game. Other new Xbox releases include Glittering Sword and Roombo: First Blood.

As always, the release lineup is subject to change. We’ll update this page throughout next week with any late additions.
