Head over to the Nintendo eShop to download a perfectly-formed little slice, the Yoshi’s Crafted World demo.
Last night’s Nintendo Direct was a good one. Not least because there was precious little Smash – after a year absolutely drowning in it – but because Nintendo hit us with a bunch of new surprises and “available now” announcements.
It’s not one of the biggest ticket items – that crown goes to the much-anticipated Super Mario Maker 2, or the surprise announcement of a Link’s Awakening remake – but the Yoshi’s Crated World demo is one of our highlights here at team Thumbsticks.
One of the most trivial hills I am prepared to die on: the #Yoshi games – Yoshi's Island, Touch & Go, Woolly World etc – are consistently some of Nintendo's most splendid and joyous games https://t.co/A9EHiKz8o5

The Yoshi’s Crafted World demo is available to download right now from the Nintendo eShop, so you should probably get on that.
That’s it. That’s the whole news.
… What are you still doing here?
Go and play the Yoshi demo!
