Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be the next game in Ubisoft’s long running open world franchise.
Following rumours circulating online yesterday, gaming giant Ubisoft has confirmed on Twitter that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be revealed in full at this year’s E3. Presumably, the game will be released towards the end of the year.

The announcement comes after video game website JeuxVideo-Live posted an image of an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey branded keychain, most likely an E3 giveaway. The game’s logo, and brief excerpt of game footage published by Ubisoft, suggest the series is now headed to Greece.
Or perhaps the game is more like Super Mario Odyssey, and will involve collecting hidden blades by travelling to a variety of historical locations in a flying hood. We’ll find out in a week from now.
There has been an unprecedented number of leaks in the run up to this year’s E3. Walmart was at it again this week, and a bunch of Nintendo Switch related images shared yesterday reveal previously unannounced titles. Rumours and predictions are all part of the fun, we suppose, but let’s hope there are some surprises remaining for next week.
