Ubisoft is adding a new game plus to Assassin’s Creed Origins, giving you all the more reason to head back to the sands.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is a really, really big game – to say nothing of its DLC – but a new game plus mode is on the way giving fans plenty more to do once they’ve finished Bayek’s quest for revenge.

Responding to a post on Reddit, the Ubisoft community manager said: “New Game + is coming. We’ll have more information to share soon.”

It makes sense, given that the levelling system is ribbed from many other action RPGs with new game plus – Witcher 3, Dark Souls etc. – allowing players to scale up their power and skill in step with tougher enemies.

Given the overhauled combat system, the prospect of fighting renewed enemies is a lot more appealing than it once would have been as well.

Assassin’s Creed Origins released last October, and after a year’s break it was a refreshing reminder of just what the series was capable of. Check out our review of the game here.
