Screenshots have emerged for Mario Tennis Aces, ahead of the Nintendo Direct address tonight, indicating the game is out in June.
The details and screenshots came up on Rakuten, an online retailer, and the game’s product page (which has since been removed) had its release down as June 22nd in Japan – most likely the same everywhere.
The images confirm some of the roster, including Mario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Rosalina, Wario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, and Daisy.
Some of the information listed suggested that players will be able to swing the Joy-Con – reminiscent of lost hours spent with Wii Sports Tennis.
The Nintendo Direct broadcast is set for 10pm UK time, so we won’t have to wait long for confirmation on this one.
It would be quite a boon for the Switch’s second year as well: adding another first party game to the Switch’s catalogue, and having that game lend itself very nicely indeed to motion control, is surely a winner.
