Shenmue III and The Touryst are among this week’s new video game releases for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

We suppose Yu Suzuki’s long-awaited Shenmue III is this week’s big new release. Fans of the series should be satisfied with the game – which is a PS4 console exclusive – but newcomers might want to tread carefully.

Another classic video game franchise also returns this week, in Europe at least, when Bubble Bobble 4 Friends comes to Nintendo Switch. The new game features 4-player couch co-op and the classic 1986 arcade original. Dead Mage’s Children of Morta and Shin’en’s The Touryst are also Switch bound.

Other new games include PS4 and Xbox One ports of Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, and CI Games’ new sneaky shooter, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.
