Nintendo eShop Releases

Here’s your roundup of this week’s Nintendo eShop game releases for the Nintendo Switch, Wii U and 3DS.

This week’s big new Nintendo Switch release is out today, and what a turnaround it’s been for Ubisoft’s partnership with Nintendo. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was widely mocked when it was leaked, but has since seen a complete reversal in perception. Now the game’s positive E3 showing has been followed by a series of complementary reviews this week, and ridicule has turned into cautious optimism. Mario with a gun – who’d have thunk?!

Also out now on Switch is Mutan’s futuristic flying bike shooter, Sky Ride. It will be joined on Thursday by Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack, which is also getting a physical release in October, and League of Evil, Ravenous Games’ retro-styled platformer from 2011.
