Nintendo eShop Releases

Here is this week’s lineup of Nintendo eShop video game releases for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

The Nintendo Switch software library gets another slew of releases in a busy week on the eShop.

Pick of the week is Capcom’s Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. This port and upgrade of the 3DS original may not match Monster Hunter World for visual splendour, but it’s got it where it counts with over 90 monsters to best.

On the indie side, The Messenger is this week’s highlight. Sabotage’s retro action-platformer may be catching headlines due to its 8-bit/16-bit genre swapping mechanics, but publisher Devolver Digital know a good game when they see one, and it looks like there’s also depth and complexity to be found.

Honourable mentions also go to Dinosaur Polo Club’s wonderful puzzle strategy game, Mini Metro, and a welcome reissue for THQ’s painty platformer, De Blob 2.

As usual, this list is subject to change. Here is the current lineup of Nintendo eShop releases.
