Mulaka and The Final Station lead this week’s lineup of eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
The Nintendo Switch receives an avalanche of new games this week, not all of which look to be of the highest quality. There are some diamonds in the rough, however, beginning with Mulaka from Mexico-based studio, Lienzo.
The game – which is also coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – is a graphically striking action-adventure that draws on the indigenous culture of the Tarahumara. If the game’s combination of exploration, puzzle solving, and combat comes together as we hope, this could be something of a gem.
Also released this week is The Final Station from Do My Best Games. We rather enjoyed the game on its PS4 release. The Nintendo Switch edition also includes the game’s expansion, The Only Traitor.
Other titles worth a look include puzzle game mashup, Bridge Constructor Portal, and Detention, the highly regarded survival horror adventure from Red Candle Games.
