Here is this week’s jam-packed lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.
Mages of Mystralia is one of this week’s Nintendo eShop highlights. The Kickstarter-funded adventure from Borealys Games was first released in 2017 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and is notable for its colourful visuals, and inventive spell system.
Downwell, the twitchy platform roguelike from Ojiro Fumoto also comes to the Nintendo Switch this week. Although mobile remains the game’s natural home, the Switch version does support TATE mode, and is available at a bargain price.
Finally, we have the long-awaited release of Wargroove from Chucklefish. The turn-based tactics game wears its influences proudly, and will hopefully fill the gap left by Intelligent Systems’ much missed Advance Wars series. It’s also coming to Xbox One.
