More than 30 games are coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop this week. Here’s the full lineup and some Thumbsticks recommendations.
We’ve seen plenty of retro-style arcade racers on Switch – and even liked some of them – but we have a feeling that Hotshot Racing from Lucky Mountain Games is the real deal. The game has been in development for some time (you may know it as Racing Apex) but has been helped over the finish line with assistance from racing veterans Sumo Digital. Get ready to drift, draft, and boost, 90s-style.
We’re also excited to enrol at the Wintermoor Tactics Club. EVC’s game blends accessible tactical RPG and visual novel gameplay, presented with beautiful, hand-drawn aesthetics.
Popular game creation platform RPG Maker MV also arrives on Switch this week. It’s a full-featured program with a comprehensive array of game-making tools. The console version is excellent, although there are some limitations and usability issues. Read our RPG Maker MV review to find out more.
This week’s other new Nintendo Switch releases include AVICII Invector Encore, Othercide, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York.
