The latest Overwatch free weekend starts today on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The free Overwatch event begins today at 7pm in the UK (see below for worldwide times) and runs until 8am on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
During the free play event, the game’s complete lineup of 26 heroes and 17 maps are available across multiple modes including Quick Play, Custom Games, and Arcade. New combatants can also level up, unlock customisations, and earn loot boxes.
The only snag is that you’ll need an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold account to play the console version. However, there’s some good news on that front. Microsoft has made online multiplayer free for all Xbox Live members until this Sunday.
Overwatch Free Weekend start times
After the event concludes, any progress made in Overwatch will be carried over for players who purchase the Game of the Year edition on console, or standard edition on PC. You will need to continue using the same Blizzard, Sony Entertainment, or Xbox Live account to ensure progress is transferred.
