Xbox Live members without a Gold membership can play online for free until Sunday.

Microsoft has opened up online multiplayer to all Xbox Live members until midnight on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

The ‘Free Play Days For All’ event starts today, and lets those without a Gold membership sample the delights of online console gaming on all flavours of the Xbox One, and the trusty Xbox 360.

To tie in with the event, both Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege, and 2K Games’ NBA 2K18, are also free to play for the same period. Any progress you make in either game will be saved, and will carry over if you decide to purchase the game once promotion ends.

As for me, I think I’ll boot up my favourite Xbox 360 online game: Uno. See you at the table, and no swearing.

In related news, Rare has confirmed that their upcoming multiplayer adventure, Sea of Thieves, will get another closed beta this weekend. The beta runs from 10am GMT/2am PST on February 16 to 10am GMT/2am PST on February 18.
