Sony has announced a solid lineup of free PlayStation Plus games coming to PS4 in August.
Wipeout Omega Collection is our highlight from August’s duo of free PlayStation Plus games. The collection brings together remasters of Wipeout HD, the Wipeout HD Fury expansion, and Wipeout 2048. Wipeout HD also includes tracks from Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout Pure, so there’s plenty of content to master. It’s also worth mentioning that the game has excellent PS VR compatibility. Just make sure you buckle up and have a bucket handy.
Also coming to PlayStation Plus this month is Rebellion’s tactical shooter, Sniper Elite 4. The game was a critical and commercial hit when it was released in 2017, with players enjoying its Italian wartime locations, breezy story, and wince-inducing X-ray kill cam sequences. You might need a bucket for this one, too.
Both games will be available to PS Plus members between August 6 and September 2, 2019.

July’s PS Plus games – Detroit: Become Human and Horizon Chase Turbo – remain available to download until next Tuesday.
