Here is the full lineup of this week’s new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Next week’s PlayStation Store lineup is refreshingly light on quantity, but hopefully not on quality, with several games catching the eye.

Release of the week is undoubtedly Guacamelee! 2, the luchador adventuring sequel from DrinkBox Studios. More of the same would have been fine with us, but the game looks to have expanded upon its Metroidvania roots with four player co-op, and all new levels. Our return trip to the ‘Mexiverse’ can’t come soon enough.

This week also sees the release of F1 2018, the official game of the FIA World Championship. Codemasters promise fine tuning in all departments, with a more involved story mode just as important as the multitude of changes under the hood.

Other games worth a look include multiplayer fighter, Brawlout, and fantasy simulation, Little Dragons Café.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
