New PlayStation Store releases

Check out the full lineup of new PlayStation 4 and PS Vita games coming to the PlayStation Store from March 26, 2019.

Crikey, there’s a busy week ahead on the PlayStation Store. There are 30 new games released across PS4, PS Vita and PS VR in a lineup headlined by Sony San Diego’s MLB The Show 19.

This year’s iteration of America’s pastime includes an expanded RPG career mode along with the usual roster updates, and gameplay tweaks.

The other big PlayStation 4 release is the remastered edition of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III. It’s not a perfect game by any stretch, but it’s certainly underrated, and worth a look if the sprawling recent entries in the franchise have not been to your taste.

Other games to check out include Xenon Racer, Outward, and Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs. Here’s the full list.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
