Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok and WWE 2K22 are among a packed lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4 and PS5.
Strictly speaking, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is an expansion and not a new release. Nonetheless, with 40 hours of content, new powers for Eivor, and a whole new world to explore, we’re surprised it wasn’t spun out into a standalone release. There should be enough here to keep fans occupied until the next Assassin’s Creed game arrives.
WWE 2K22 is the week’s biggest brand new game. 2K’s wrestling franchise has had a rough time in recent years and even took a sabbatical in 2021. Fans are hoping that Visual Concept’s back to basics approach pays off.
Other new PlayStation releases include Submerged: Hidden Depths and a tenth-anniversary reissue of stealth adventure République. The new edition features a developer commentary and is also available on PS VR.
Here’s this week’s list of new PS4 and PS5 games. We’ll keep this page updated with any late arrivals throughout the week.
