Four new NES and Super NES video games are coming to the Nintendo Switch Online library later this month.
Nintendo has announced the next batch of retro games available to Switch Online subscribers.
Coming to the Super NES lineup is Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest, the excellent 1995 platformer from Rare. It’s joined by Jaleco’s 1993 beat ’em up The Peace Keepers and, most excitingly, Mario’s Super Picross, which has only ever been released in Japan.
Getting our hands on previously unreleased games is always exciting, but even more so when it’s a Picross title. To help new players, Nintendo has issued an introductory video to demonstrate the basics. The format is pixel picking puzzling perfection, so if you like it, do check out Jupiter’s marvellous Picross S series.
Finally, Natsume sci-fit shooter S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team joins the NES range. We, erm, much prefer the European name, Action in New York.
All four games arrive on September 23, 2020.
