NIS America confirms that The SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is heading to PlayStation 4 in March.
Following on from its debut on Nintendo Switch last year, the excellent SNK 40th Anniversary Collection has been announced for release on PlayStation 4. It will hit stores on March 19, 2019 in North America, March 22 in Europe, and March 29 in Australia and New Zealand.
The anthology features over 20 classic SNK games from the company’s pre-NeoGeo era, and although the games are something of a mixed bag, the overall package is a must for retro game enthusiasts.
Each title has been updated with all-new modern conveniences, including a rewind feature, a Let’s Watch video mode, and full 4K resolution on PS4 Pro.
There’s also a marvellous in-game museum that contains a slew of original promotional assets, production materials, and HD artwork. Selected games are also available to play in their arcade and console variants.
