We Happy Few and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor are among four new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January.

Xbox Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving, with another four games coming to Microsoft’s all-you-can-eat subscription service before the month is out.

January has already seen Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Ark: Survival Evolved – among many other games – added to the Game Pass lineup, but it doesn’t stop there.

Arriving today is We Happy Few from Compulsion Games. Our hopes were high for this intriguingly macabre survival adventure, but the end product didn’t live up to our expectations. In our review we called the game “an intriguing narrative in an evocative setting, wrapped up in some clumsy systems and clunky procedural generation.”

Also available from today is The Lego Movie Videogame, a fun – if somewhat predictable – romp that adheres to the standard TT Games formula. It’s not quite awesome, but it is good fun with friends.

Monolith’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor also comes to Game Pass from January 24, along with Volition’s cult Xbox 360 favourite, Saints Row: The Third.
