New Xbox One releases

Donut County is the pick of the new video games coming to the Xbox One between December 17-21, 2018.

There are slim pickings on the Xbox One next week, but there’s one game that is a hole lot of fun. Ben Esposito’s award-winning Donut County inverts the formula of Keita Takahashi’s legendary Katamari Damacy – which is out now on Nintendo Switch – and adds an oblique, and sometimes melancholy, narrative. It’s simple, short, and delightful. If you can’t wait, the game is already available on PS4, PC, and iOS.

Also released this week is Onion Soup’s knock about physics-based runner, Nippon Marathon, twin-stick action strategy game, Hellfront: Honeymoon, and Sundered: Eldritch Edition.

All of next week’s games can be found on the Xbox digital games store, or on the Microsoft online store. Here’s the full release list.
