Here’s the full rundown on the new releases coming to the Xbox One Games Store between April 30 – May 4, 2018.

There’s a modest selection of eight games coming to the Xbox One Digital Games Store in the next week, with Super Mega Baseball 2 being the most notable new release.

Metalhead Software’s arcade sports game adds all of the usual graphical and gameplay upgrades you’d expect in a sequel, but it’s also completely free for Xbox Live members as part of May’s Games with Gold lineup. Poor old PlayStation 4 owners will have to pay for their copy.

Also rolling onto Xbox One this week is Battlezone: Gold Edition, a tweaked version of the PlayStation VR launch title that is playable without a headset, and includes all of the original release’s add-on content.

Elsewhere, there’s an Xbox outing for Zordix’s Aqua Moto Racing Utopia, and Uppercut Games’ Arabian Nights adventure, City of Brass.

Here’s the full rundown of next week’s Xbox One digital releases:

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
