Dark Light

Here’s the full rundown on the new releases coming to the Xbox One Games Store between 2–6 April, 2018.

It’s a reasonably quiet week on the Xbox One, with just seven new games set for release. Fortunately, at least of two of them are worth a look.

Our pick of the week is Minit, from Jan Willem Nijman, one of creative minds behind Ridiculous Fishing and Nuclear Throne. The game takes Zelda-like gameplay, and compresses the experience into 60 second chunks. It looks inventive, compelling, and utterly charming.

Our other recommendation is Bluehole Studio’s ageing MMORPG, TERA. The game has taken nearly six years to come to console in the West – a PS4 release is also on the horizon – but don’t let that put you off. If you can find a group of like-minded players there’s quite a bit of fun to be had in embarking on quests, and exploring the game’s vast open world.

If there’s nothing in this week’s lineup that piques your interest, check out April’s Xbox Games with Gold selection. It’s a good one.
