Xbox Game Pass

For the next two weeks Microsoft are offering three-month subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass for the price of one.

Microsoft are offering a sizeable discount on a 3-month membership to Xbox Game Pass, the Xbox One video game subscription service. Usually costing £23.97/$29.97, the price is reduced to $9.99/£7.99 until August 1, 2018.

If you’re looking for something to see you through the Summer games slump, the deal offers pretty decent value for money. There are now well over 100 games available on the service, including all of the Microsoft’s recent first-party releases, a solid lineup of indie gems, and a decent crop of backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles. And Kameo.

The 3-month membership will automatically renew, so make sure to pop a reminder in the diary before the renewal date. And if you are yet to sample Xbox Game Pass, you can also get a 14-day free trial. Head over to the Microsoft Store for full details.

Here are some of our game recommendations.

Xbox Game Pass Highlights

  • BioShock
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Fable II
  • Fallout 4
  • The Flame in the Flood
  • Gears of War 4
  • Mad Max
  • Overcooked
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Viva Piñata

A small selection of Xbox Game Pass titles are also compatible with the new Xbox One FastStart feature. FastStart prioritises the files needed to start playing a game and downloads those first.
