Four indie games are now available as My Nintendo Gold Point rewards.
Nintendo has updated the My Nintendo rewards programme with four Nintendo 3DS games that can be redeemed in full using gold points. My Nintendo usually restricts its offers to discounts, so picking up a game without the need for extra cash is something of a rarity.
Pick of the bunch is the mighty Mighty Switch Force 2. WayForward’s action-platformer – and its equally fun predecessor – are perfect 3DS games that use the console’s stereoscopic display to great effect.
Also available is Drinkbox Studio’s inventive adventure game, Severed. The 3DS might not be the best platform on which to play the game, but its quality still shines through.
Here’s the full lineup of included titles. At the time of writing the rewards are only available in Europe.

And if you’d rather play Severed on the Switch, you can now trade in Gold points against digital games via the Nintendo eShop.
