Save on games from the SteamWorld and Yooka-Laylee franchises with this week’s batch of Nintendo Switch eShop discounts.
There aren’t any big promotions running this week, but we’ve scoured the Nintendo eShop’s digital store shelves to bring you some worthwhile Switch bargains.
There are some great games on offer in Europe and North America, starting with discounts on every game in Image & Form’s SteamWorld franchise. SteamWorld Dig 2 remains our favourite, but Heist and Quest also offer top-class gameplay delivered with wit and personality.
We aren’t the biggest fans of Playtonic’s first Yooka-Laylee game – it’s a little too old school for our taste – but it’s certainly worth picking up with a discount. The Donkey Kong Country-inspired Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is also on offer and is a much more polished experience. You can download a free demo if you want to try before you buy, too.
Over Switch hits to check out include Ghost Town’s marvellous multiplayer party-game, Overcooked!, PixelJunk Monsters 2, and Blasphemous. And if you’re looking for something new to play, Foam Sword’s charming tale of childhood hijinks, Knights and Bikes, is available with a 10% pre-release price cut.
Here are some more recommendations. Visit the Nintendo eShop in your region for the full roster of sale titles.
